Tom Golisano, the founder of Paychex, made the move to Florida in 2009, saving himself a reported $4.5 million a year in NYS income taxes.

I'm just happy to be living in Upstate NY, retired on a State pension and Social Security, and thus paying zero NYS income taxes, which is exactly what the State government is worth.
