Did anyone in their right minds doubt for one moment that China would allow the most free State on earth to remain that way? For China Freedom is anathema. How can a government rigidly control two billion free people? Why a totalitarian State? What does the Government really want? Power, that is for them the whole name of the game, all they want is the power that lies naturally with Freedom in the people. They can never get that kind of power. so they control the people who have it. Don't look now, but government is also trapped in that dungeon. They must always be on their guard against Freedom. Tianamen Square? Remember? haha.
