It is more about the strident, envious and increasing minority who don't like them.

The difference between societies and cultures with opposite outlooks about the rich was characterized in a story about a Russian who sees his neighbor coming into his driveway with a new car. The Russian thinks, 'why should he have that?' and ' why not me?" while a similar event in the US would have the neighbor thinking 'wow, how hard do I have to work to get me one of those?'
