You're too young to remember the 7.3% to 12.9% mortgage rates in the 1970s; I'm not. I graduated from college in 1970, when you could buy $7.75 worth of current goods with a dollar. Powell should keep pushing until inflation is zero for a stable currency. And, hopefully, Krugman will eat a Baby Ruth bar soon and die. He's no Bill Murray, he's more like Ted Night.
