We see the president (regardless of party) taking CEOs on trips to China, etc. to help land deals. How does the small guy get to have that kind of support? He doesn't. Immelt will propose ideas that help big business of course! What bothers me most about Immelt is that much of his growth strategy for GE is focused on areas where governments subsidize.
