Movie stars are a special breed

For most people in the top 1%, how much they take home has nothing to do with how much actual work they do. It has to do with how much their accumulated wealth is working for them. The Walton heirs do no work and pocket the revenue from their investments. If they "worked" harder, they wouldn't make any more money than if they worked less. Movie stars who get paid by the movie will work more to make more, but for most in that bracket, the amount of work is largely divorced from what they take home. Movie Stars are not typical of the top 1%.
