I agree, in fact many conditions imposed on the AOL-time warner merger were laughable within the first one or two years, meaning that market failure meant that aol didn't really have a monopoly recall that the government fearing market success prevented aol from videoconferencing on its utility which was stupid because within a year or two aol really had no dominance, in fact I blame the government for its failure in part because competitors could not really use time warner's network anymore, you heard that compeititors because the government feared that aol would get strong by partnering with competitors , ironic but true.
