WHAT "possible alternatives"?

You Movement conservatives crack me up. You got some guy at Volkh wanting to go back to Lochner. You got another guy over there who thinks the 1868 decision that insurance is not commerce is correct.

We had these fights a hundred years ago or more. If government doesn't regulate nobody will, and if nobody regulates, people die.

This is not hard. Corporations will seek to maximize profits, shift costs through externalities, minimize labor costs and seek monopoly pricing power. They're supposed to do that. But how do we stop them when those actions have negative consequences?
