You just made a pretty strong case for a Britain style system of medical care. Why should our tax dollars fund gigantic hospital and insurance company executives' compensation?

I think the problems with Britain's system have been well-documented elsewhere -- long waits, slow adoption of advanced technology, among other problems. Sick patients like the Saudi king who can afford to go wherever they want choose to come here to America to be treated in the hospitals where the executives and the doctors make a lot of money.
