Wikipedia has more details - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelo_v._City_of_New_London - including shots of houses that are likely more "blighted" now.

Sadly, the current online satellite maps only show the "after" picture. Before the re-development mess, the area looked like perfectly decent suburb. http://goo.gl/maps/JUAX
