MA laboratory highlights principle from Atlas Shrugged

This reminds me of Ayn Rand's principle concerning the "sanction of the victim". In Atlas Shrugged with all the producers abstaining from propping up the failed collectivist state it eventually collapses in on itself because it's inherently immoral and impractical. The Democrat dominated MA makes for a good laboratory b/c the consistently collectivistic policies they implement highlight the fact that those ideas are destructive on principle and that the antidote would be the opposite, i.e, individualism. The lesson to be drawn from this story is don't compromise on principles by supporting your destroyers.
