Underpaid public sector employeesReader comment on: USA Today on Government Pay Submitted by Steve Almy (United States), May 5, 2011 12:32 The CIA officers who carefully identified and followed bin Laden's couriers to locate where bin Laden was living operated in a very dangerous location, in small towns and villages in Pakistan. These areas are inhabited by many dangerous people who agree with bin Laden and the Taliban. Getting caught risks not just death, but a slow, horrible death. And they did this work on around $75,000 a year. How do you compare this level of patriotism and duty with someone in the private sector making twice that money?
