The schools are about to be dismantled, they are talking of throwing children off medicaid (well, actually getting rid of medicaid altogether). We'll see how well the small government ideals hold up when the "beast" actually gets starved as it is in Texas. Judged on the polls relating to medicare, I don't think Perry's position will likely be a winner.
