Of course its also a good idea in the real world today, everyone is out to get you. Financial services folks are used car salesmen and women in disguise, all crooks. See the book F.I.A.S.C.O. for example the goal of the derivatives folks was to rip the other fellow's face off. Actually that's all the consumer financial folks need, to run ads showing financial types as used car salespersons (perhaps I am insulting the used car folks here, they may have better ethics). We have built a society based on distrust, and the answer is to take it up a notch and trust no one.
