Sometimes higher taxes are the price we pay to live in a just society. Should Oregonians have cut the school day to four days so that those individuals making over 125k can buy an extra rolex (I believe it was 125k for individuals and 250k for families - that does seem "rich," especially in a state with lower living expenses like Oregon. Voters made a wise decision. This country has spent the last three decades systematically redistributing wealth upwards to the richest 10%, it is about time that that group begins to pay some of it back.
