How much did we really know about Clinton or GW Bush? Folks we know a lot about can't be elected as they have too much baggage, think Dole, or Gore, or the like. If you are known then you probably have made some group mad in the past and they will be out to get you. Frankly I can't see why anyone in their right mind would want to be President, it's a killer job, (look at how it ages the occupant), you lose privacy for a long time, your past gets examined in extreme detail (everybody probably has some skeleton in their closet by the time they are 50+, think drinking and weed use if nothing else)
