Let's start at the top. All members of government deserves social security and medicare at the appropriate age, just like every other American. Term limits reduces the bloated pensions awarded after 4 years of service since these positions were never meant to be lifetime careers and for those who disgrace the political position they were awarded by the public, no SS etc. while in prison. I think we can settle the problem of means testing and wild government spending to keep a chair in DC. Not only that, perhaps a bit of humility and honesty might return to this government.
