The Scope of Science?

Reader comment on: Republicans and Science

Since when has Science been reduced to only two topics? Is the whole of all science now to comprise merely the Darwin theory and the agenda of those who promote man made global warming? That is almost a Potemkin Village of selected subjects. The Left wants you to see what they show you about the topics, but only from a distance and by a fixed perspective.

Those two topics are the only ones that can be condensed into sound bites- from the left- that would take complex and ever shifting subjects and make the matters one of 'believe as I do' else one has no credibility.

The only reason those two areas enjoy that status is the decades long campaign to make the two into the standard barer of all modern science, as seen by the Left's agenda; for whatever reason that could really serve. Guess the fact that science in it's full reach does not have just two hand picked poster children topics worries the left. Hard to spin the stance one has or not on science overall when the matter at hand is very vast and varied. I am sure Perry would concur about that.
