The Truth for a Change

Reader comment on: USA Today on Solyndra

In May of last year, the president looked at that California manufacturing plant, and he told us, "...the future is here."

Well, failure, bankrupcy, layoffs, poverty, cronyism, corruption and permanent unemployment is, indeed, the future he has prescribed for America. Every thing he does moves in that direction. He was telling the truth; that is his vision for our society.

He also told us over and over that he would "transform America," and he is doing just that - and with a vengeance. From a free enterprise democratic, proud nation into a third-world socialist autocracy. How can you say he lies? That's a heckuva transformation.

He said that he was going to "spread the wealth." Which means confiscating money from the people who own it - have saved it, worked for it - and, (after taking his cut), doling it out to his friends and supporters. Can you say that he lied?

Why do people say that his policies are failing?

Remember, you cannot judge how well a man is doing a job, until you first recognize exactly what it is, that he is trying to do.
