Sounds a bit like Perry's philosophy. I wonder if Rick Perry, or the various other science denying Tea Partiers save money on heart surgeries by having their local plumber do it. After all, a heart surgeon cannot predict with certainty what the outcome of the operation will be, so why shell out the money. Just be glad you root for a large market team. Those of us with small market teams struggle to put together a playoff team once a decade. Baseball needs a more football like system to encourage some parity.
