Reader comment on: Cain's 9-9-9 Plan

Free market economists and economic policy analysts found all sorts of shortcomings in Cain's 9-9-9 infomercial-like tax plan (see here: http://spatialorientation.com/2011/10/13/critiques-of-cain's-9-9-9-plan/), but what should we expect from a former board member of the Federal Reserve?

Gary Johnson is the only candidate campaigning on implementing the Fair Tax, which is exactly what the name implies – fair (visit http://FairTax.org). We need to stop falling for these simple sound bite applause lines that contain no substance. The only solution we keep hearing from Herman Cain is "fix it." Gov. Johnson is the only candidate offering serious policy prescriptions and common sense solutions, but the establishment press treats him like some fringe guy with 'crazy' ideas like balancing the budget.
