Reader comment on: Jobless Democrats

Follow the links to the actual survey results, esp. Question 13, and then read the NPR story. I haven't had a chance to fully digest it yet, but note in the initial filtering of people that 0% (sic) were unemployed by choice or by disability. Does that seem realistic? And given that Congress keeps extending unemployment benefits, how come 78% (excluding those who work part time) are not receiving unemployment benefits (question 19) and 54% never received any benefits (question 21)? This is a difficult poll to conduct, as noted in their survey methodology, but some of these numbers are head scratchers?

Also, they could have reported that over half the respondents blame Obama and the Democrats in Congress (from question 13), but instead they reported that "about 70 percent said Wall Street institutions and Republicans in Congress". It's all about what you want to add to what.
