The President of RPI, Shirley Jackson had her rubberstamp board increase her salary up to $1.8 million plus she's puling in $2 million in corporate board fees which she earns on RPI time.

She also laid off scores of professors and Instructors.

At Hudson Valley Community College, 70% of the teachers are Adjuncts without any benefits of any kind. They are sort of the migrant fruit pickers of the education world often having to find classes to teach at multiple colleges just to make half a living wage withot medical insurance. Meanwhile the army of administrators are making between $ 45000 AND $200000 PLUS FORMER college presidents making $165000 "consulting" fees.

At SUNY Albany President George Philip is not only milking taxpayers for his salary, but for the multiple pensions he is collecting http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/triple_dipper_MD4WWiQyZ2EjNu2EYYUJKJ

Regular state retirees are barred from making over $30000 a year if they return to state service.

It is these persons that are overburdening the system, not dedicated hard working teachers and students.
