The guy is just not likeable. There is no way around it. I am a through and through Democrat, but there are many Republicans who I like even if they have some crazy opinions. Romney is just trying too hard, and it appears so phony. He is like the middle school kid who buys candy for everyone in class, not because he actually is nice, but because he thinks it is how you make friends. You feel about Romney how I did about Kerry. The similarities between 2004 and 2012 are pretty remarkable, with the roles reversed of course. Even the outside spending - remember that outside groups funded by Soros et al? Just like today's superpacs.
