The MeaningReader comment on: Buffett on Donating His Income to Treasury Submitted by John Gillis (United States), Mar 15, 2012 17:21 Aside from the good points made by Kurt Todoroff, there's a more "tricky dick" aspect to this absurd response by Buffett: What is Buffett's "income"? From news reports his income is paltry, because most of his billions and billions of well-earned profits have not been taken as income. So, he could probably provide 15% of his "income" to the government (assuming he could be led by 50 moronic Congressmen), and it would probably amount to a rounding error in his true wealth. Unfortunately having an excellent ability to analyze investment situations, as Buffett has demonstrated, bears no relation to being an independent thinker and moral individualist.
