Not if the farm is a sole proprietor ship

The rules appear to apply if you have made the farm into an LLC. However if you operate the farm as a sole proprietor then there is a parental exception. So how you run the business can make a difference. Perhaps now the LLC holds the Land and the farmer leases the land from that and then the rules don't apply.
