Why Regulations are Wrong - on both Liberal and Conservative ideology!

Reader comment on: Light Bulb Law

The arguments for banning certain light bulbs (or buildings, cars, washing machines...) does not hold up, Democrat or Republican, whether to save energy or otherwise - and Market Competition or even Taxation policies are more relevant

http://dunday.com/p/deception-behind-banning-light-bulbs.html

(on Liberal Ideology, taxation can pay for price lowering subsidies on alternatives as well as giving Govmt income – Hello California)

with both alternative policies, especially market competition, not just keeping choice, but also being better at promoting innovation and saving more energy overall, as described and referenced with Dept of Energy etc data.
