I was responding to the link you had to hot air that "debunked" the 7-1 number. Even by the 2-1 number, it is still an enormous spending advantage, and probably it was somewhere in between. The bigger point is that a billionaire can buy an election (or if not actually guarantee victory, then at least drastically increase one's chances). This site often rails against crony capitalism (which I agree with), and unlimited campaign expenditures are a quick way to increase the amount of crony capitalism.
