Reader comment on: Robert Reich on Charity

Submitted by Rick Cohen (United States), Jun 10, 2012 15:24

You have your Reich people confused. Robert Reich, the former secretary of labor, is not the Robert Reich who teaches at Stanford. True the former Secretary of Labor is also teaching on the West Coast, but these are two different people. I know both of them. When I write about them in my columns, I call the Stanford Reich "Rob" which is how he is known (and I'm pretty sure he pronounces his surname more like "reesh"). The Secretary of Labor was teaching at Brandeis, now teaches I think at Berkeley, and his friends I think call him Bob, and he pronounces his last name more like "rike".
