The Warren proposal does not have to be a 9% of GDP expenditure. I read the argument as being we need to spend more. It is hard todisagree when one realises that our roads and bridges and electric grid are the competitive advantage of the US. We do not have millions blacked out at once, yet. We have had interstate highway bridges collapse. We can prevent that by spending wisely to upgrade our infrastructure. I agree our political process does not spend wisely but that is a different argument from we need to spend more.
