This is yet another in a long line of examples of Ira Stoll's brilliance. The last two lines alone are worth more than everything else published everywhere else in the last 96 hours. Except his article in Reason on Fareed Zakaria, also a gem of analysis and genius.

Luckily for his readers, that's what he does, day in and day out: be a great reader and commenter on what passes for intelligent commentary, especially in the dependably egregious New York Times.

Thanks for another great read, Mr. Stoll.
