As a supporter of the bill, I agree that it will crate a two tiered system, similar to what the British have where a private citizen can buy more expensive (and better?) private healthcare. However, we currently have a two tiered system already, except that those on the bottom don't get anything other than a long wait in an emergency line or begging for free care. I will gladly take the new health system over the old one, but agree with this reader that a universal single payer system would be more fair.
