Reader comment on: And Speaking of Yale

One of the characteristics of modern liberalism is to suffuse the discussion with so much grey area that the hapless critic has not a leg to stand on. In order to achieve the moniker of a caring progressive one merely has to outbid the competition. If they offer to double spending on education, you treble it and call your opponents mean spirited. When pressed to define limits some are so brazen as to suggest that "there can never be enough!". All of this suggests that they have no accounting of money or consequences. Whenever a budget is in jeopardy there is always the surplus wealth of the rich to drawn upon. Zimbabwe was a perfect model of the endgame of this strategy.
