Europe has no citizens

Reader comment on: Nobel Peace Prize for Europe

Submitted by Bernie Quigley (United States), Oct 13, 2012 06:14

The good phrase, "Europe has no citizens, only inhabitants." Europe is no longer a place or collection of places, it is now simply an economic zone. The question Europe faces today and has since 1952 is the same that the U.S. faced since Jay's Treaty: Hamilton or Jefferson? Once they have you they won't let go. Europe beware.
