Don't assume that angry white men are enough to get you elected, in fact don't assume that whites alone are enough. If you look at Tx which is now Red, in 2020 the number of hispanics will be about the same as the number of whites, and in 2040 there will be according to projections 15.8 m hispanics and only 11.5 m whites. Be sure that candidates know when to shut the ... up (Murdock and Akin) you may hold these opinions and I suspect a number of others do but you don't say them.

Fix immigration recognizing that the declining Mexican birth rate will also help the issue, and recall that Regan granted an amnesty . Note that the total fertility rate in Mx has fallen from about 7 in the 1960s to 2.3 today very close to that of the US. This will mean that there will be less "surplus" population to move north.
