For the US you have to renounce your citizenship to avoid us taxes. I would take the law a step further and say that if you do this you may never re-enter the US again. In Europe you just move. (tax is based upon country of residence) and I believeSeZe said he would continue to pay french taxes, partly since his company depends on custmer traffic. Note of course the US system does make the cost non-financial much higher to leave,
