The only way the Republicans can lose in this fight is to allow Obama, the hard left and the mainstream media (but I repeat myself) to define them as the culprits.

Instead they should mount a 24/7 full fledged media campaign highlighting Obama's budget proposals that have been voted down every time in a bipartisan vote. They can do this with full page ads and radio spots by hiring a competent PR firm (not in any way connected with Karl Rove).

Then focus on the hypocrisy of Obama's plan and the lies on which it was created that could be turned over to a bunch of high school juniors.
