this is yet another chapter in the demise of the travel agent as folks become their own travel agent on the web. I appears that more and more companies are doing most travel arrangements on the web, which of course allows their policies to be enforced. We have know that travel agents are an endangered species outside of special situations for a good while and this is just another sign of it. How many independent agents close up every year?
