Luck is credited for far too much

You can have all the luck in the world but if you are not equipped to take advantage of the scenarios that come your way, it will amount to nothing.

All of us have met famous or powerful people at one time, the resourceful person knows how to take advantage of it. Furthermore, we create our own "luck" by the very industry we employ in striving towards our goals.

Bill Gates came from a wealthy family and had access to a school with a computer. So what? So did hundreds if not thousands of other kids in the state. He was the only one with a vision and the wherewithal to pursue it.
