State Department glassware

How much will the State Department really spend on the glassware for diplomatic entertaining? Well, so far we have paid out or allocated $1,235,000 that is one million 235 thousand dollars and we have as yet not one glass to show for it.

Does that sound extravagant? It does to me too. But if you have to pay your friend to subcontract with a company in Sweden to make your glassware, it can be pricy. Besides this is a small "disadvantaged" minority woman taking us to the cleaner.
