Maybe Obama should also talk about below ? :

That is, the fact that we are right now at global oil production peak, even if almost not able to talk about it.
And this is of course also the reason for the current so called "financial" crisis, that is only starting.

And by the way about oil, if there is a myth from which it is urgent to get out it is :

"first oil schock = Yom Kippur war/Arab embargo= geopolitical event = nothing to do with geologic constraints"
