From all accounts Zimmerman is broke, so suing him would be like trying to get blood from a turnip. Now one could sue the homeowners association, for not training him properly, but as he did not follow the advice from the police, its not clear how far you would get. So good luck finding a lawyer unless one wants publicity, as there won't be much to win in a civil suit.
