It appears that most of the folks in the county don't really care, because the commission consists of 3 county commissioners, 2 city councilmen from Tampa and 1 each from two smaller towns. I wonder how often any of them get asked about it. (Most people likley view this as a non issue in their lives). Further it appears that no one is willing to run for the offices and get on the commission and change things. It is just like Taxi regulation, no one runs for city council on a platform to abolish it (albeit that the taxi companies would give massively to their opponent).
