Companies have spent a lot to avoid it

The expenditures range from proper desk chairs, ergonomic keyboards and mice and the like. The simplest thing is of course urging folks to take breaks from the keyboard frequently for a few minutes. I recall after a merger the company that bought us was big on ergonomics in 2002. and spent the money to help avoid it, since otherwise there would be workmans comp claims. It also may be that workmans's comp carriers are pushing the measures to minimize the expenditures.
