I tan myself!
Reader comment on: How to Get Around the Tanning Tax

So nearly each morning I spend 15+ minutes on my front porch getting a tan or, put differently, soaking up some vitamin D. However, no one is collecting any tax from me in connection with this. How come? And I also often stay with friends when I travel but no one is paid and so no one collects taxes from those who do this. I oftten give rides to neighbors and there is no taxation involved. When I eat at friends' or relatives' homes, no taxes are collected (other than when the ingredients are bought). Just goes to show you that taxation cannot be made just!
