Once again one must check on insurance.Reader comment on: Eat With Submitted by Lyle (United States), Jan 16, 2014 14:01 Since it is a paid for party, it likely violates the terms of the homeowners insurance, as well as zoning or deed restrictions against carrying on a business in a residental area. Watch out if a neighbor gets upset. Or if a guest gets hurt and sues and the homeowners insurance company says sorry I am not on the hook for this. As with a number of cases cited often a neighbor gets upset at the behavior and calls the city or the homeowners association. So you better invite the neighbors for free or else you will get caught.
