More Marx, More Guilt, the Left's Dead End

Reader comment on: Piketty's Capital in the Twenty-First Century

Increasing wealth inequality comes with increasing wealth. Inceased wealth creation through previously nonexistent technological creativity and increased trade creates new wealth and favors the highly educated, those who understand what this means and all others are, unfortunately, left behind. This is not a tragedy, this is gthe human condiiton. As John F. Kennedy noted "life is unfair." Piketty is yet another Franch Socialist (look what socialism has done French!) preaching guilt for a crimes that don't exist. This endlss and pontless guilt is sapping the energy of our youth which once heeded the call "go west!" and created this great country. Unfortunately, the roots of our wealth are being withered by this Marxist crap. ( I don't know why Marx, whose "prophesies" and "scientific materialism" and "determinism" has gained ascendancy in acdemia when they should be reading Max Weber's "The Protetestant Ethic and the 'Spirit' of Capitalism" for real answers.) Now that the West is burying itself daily in the mud of multiculturalism, Weber's prophesies will become more and more true. Culture is fate. Read Milton Friedman.Piketty is the Left's flavor of the week.
