If you want to leave fine, but you may never ever return to the US no matter what citizenship you hold. (If over 23 when doing the expatriation, the age is to allow a dual birth situation to be resolved). Dont let the door slam on you when you go, so many want in you will just make room for someone else. Given the vast number that want it if a few want to go more power to them.
