Faces of Greed

Reader comment on: What Blankfein Is Up Against

Accusing Wall Street bigshots of 'greed' is yet another example of the profound laziness of the mainstream media, where reporters (I use the word generously) fire off vapid accusations and engage in name calling which requires no reportorial efforts on their part. Heaven forbid they should put down the lattes and use some shoe leather. For a start, it would be far better and more useful to find and expose examples of Wall Street criminality, beginning possibly with gathering information that could lead to RICO prosecutions of Goldman and others for manipulating the price of crude oil two years ago, costing consumers hundreds of millions of dollars in artificially inflated gasoline, diesel fuel and heating oil prices.
