Hi Ira,

Since leaving federal prison after a 90 day sentence that was originally supposed to be 20 years, I have developed a deep personal understanding of the issues you raised above. I would add that the only reason to hire an ex-prosecutor is because you know that you must cut a deal since 98% of defendants plead guilty. Here's a bit more from my daily News Op-ed:
